A terrace house taken back to its bones and rebuilt as a warm, light-filled home — respectful of the street, entirely new behind the party wall.
The original 1890s facade remains — sandstone, iron lace, the lot. Behind it, everything is new: spotted-gum floors, lime-washed brick, raked ceilings that draw afternoon light deep into the plan. A timber-lined courtyard at the centre of the house separates the old (sleeping) from the new (living).
