A Federation villa reimagined with a serif-weight attention to detail — the proportions of every moulding, every door height, every room width calibrated to a classical ratio.
The architects worked from a proportional system: 1:1.618 governing room widths, door heights, even shelf spacing. New interventions read old — arched openings, deep reveals, thick-set plaster — but they are made with contemporary precision. Spotted gum replaces kauri; steel lintels replace timber where the structure demanded it.
